This example is not a customer result or a native reporting-platform integration.
Try a normalized sample
One normalized CSV, three fixed demo business units.
Validation mechanics only; no live platform integration.
One view. Five business metrics.
Business unit breakdown
| BUSINESS UNIT | REVENUE | TRANSACTIONS | LABOR HRS | DATA COVERAGE |

Exceptions worth a look
Row warnings apply to the whole import. Missing groups follow the selected dates and business units. A missing group means no accepted revenue or labor row for that site/day, not proof that activity was zero.
Your numbers, with the caveats.
Export accepted totals, scope, excluded-row counts and check status.
“Checked” covers schema and arithmetic, not reconciliation to cash, bank or payroll.
CSV format & validation rules +
Use exactly these seven headers, in any order:
row_id,date,site_id,record_type,amount,transactions,labor_hours
- row_id: unique across the whole file. First valid occurrence wins; later duplicates are excluded.
- date: a valid YYYY-MM-DD date. Choose up to 366 days per report.
- site_id: harbor, midtown, or airport. These are fixed synthetic fixture keys for North, Central and South Unit.
- record_type = revenue: amount in USD and integer transactions required; labor_hours must be blank.
- record_type = labor: aggregate labor_hours required; amount and transactions must be blank.
- Numeric values: zero or positive, up to 10 integer digits; amount/hours allow up to two decimals. No leading zeros (except 0 or 0.50), currency symbols, commas, signs, scientific notation, or refunds.
- Invalid rows are excluded and listed. Malformed CSV or header errors reject the entire new import and clear the previous report.
- Quoted fields, escaped quotes, UTF-8 BOM, CRLF and LF are supported. Blank lines are ignored.
Use only synthetic or sanitized non-personal data in this prototype. The report data is not stored between page loads. CSV contents are processed in your browser without uploading them. Exported files remain on your device.
